Sia joins MAS PathFin.ai as an AI solution provider.

Published October 5, 20268-minute readBy Cyril Sayada

Sia RegAI, Sia's regulatory intelligence platform, is now listed as a solution provider on PathFin.ai, the Monetary Authority of Singapore's Pathfinder Programme for financial sector AI adoption. Financial institutions registered on PathFin.ai can now find Sia RegAI and engage our team directly through the programme.

Direct answer: Sia RegAI is now a solution provider on PathFin.ai, a MAS-led programme that helps financial institutions find AI use cases, peer experience and AI solutions. The listing makes Sia RegAI discoverable to participating institutions; it is not a licence or an MAS endorsement. Viewing Sia's profile requires a PathFin.ai account.

Regulatory snapshot

  • Programme: the MAS Pathfinder Programme for financial sector AI adoption, or PathFin.ai, a collaborative initiative between MAS and the financial industry. Participation is voluntary: MAS invites institutions and AI solution providers to register their interest.
  • Status: operating since July 2025; the PathFin.ai knowledge hub launched in October 2025.
  • What changed: Sia RegAI is now listed as a solution provider. Separately, MAS's FSTI 4.0 scheme, announced on 31 August 2026, adds an AI Pathfinder track for solutions listed on PathFin.ai.
  • Who is in scope: financial institutions across banking, insurance, capital markets and payments, and AI solution providers.
  • Controlling sources: the MAS PathFin.ai programme page and the MAS media release of 31 August 2026, and the MAS AI Pathfinder page.

What PathFin.ai is

In MAS's words, the programme "is a collaborative initiative between the MAS and the financial industry that fosters knowledge exchange in Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementations" (MAS Pathfinder Programme - PathFin.ai, published 1 August 2025).

MAS describes PathFin.ai as bringing together "FIs, AI FinTechs and ecosystem partners to help the sector identify relevant AI use cases, learn from peer implementation experiences, discover AI solutions and access resources that support more effective and responsible AI adoption" (MAS media release, 31 August 2026).

The FSTI 4.0 AI Pathfinder track

On 31 August 2026, MAS announced "a S$220 million commitment over three years under the renewed Financial Sector Technology and Innovation Scheme (FSTI 4.0)." One of its tracks is tied directly to PathFin.ai: "The AI Pathfinder track supports the scaling and adoption of market-ready AI FinTech solutions listed on PathFin.ai. It enables FIs to deploy these solutions to foster greater collaboration between these FIs and AI solution providers" (MAS Commits S$220 Million to Support Next Phase of FinTech Innovation).

MAS published the track's terms on its AI Pathfinder page on 31 August 2026:

  • Who can apply: only Singapore-based financial institutions onboarded as participating organisations on PathFin.ai, with one application per applicant.
  • What is eligible: only solutions listed on the PathFin.ai registry, which must be deployed within a 6-month funding period.
  • Funding support: 50% of expenses, capped at S$200,000 per project for projects involving Singapore-based AI FinTechs and S$100,000 per project for projects involving non-Singapore-based AI FinTechs. Qualifying expenses include consultancy, software infrastructure and external auditor's certification.
  • How to apply: submit an Expression of Interest before the intended project start date, with evidence of engagement with the AI FinTech, such as a signed quotation and a project proposal, and a preliminary assessment where the deployment may disrupt the existing workforce. MAS can be reached at fintech_office@mas.gov.sg or through PathFin.ai.

Whether a specific deployment qualifies, and which cap applies, depends on the institution and the project. Confirm with MAS before relying on the funding.

What a PathFin.ai listing does not mean

A PathFin.ai listing makes Sia RegAI discoverable to institutions participating in the programme. It is not a licence, a regulatory approval or an MAS endorsement of Sia or its products. It also does not change what an adopting institution has to do: each institution remains responsible for its own vendor due diligence and risk assessment before adopting any solution, including ours.

A checklist for institutions evaluating Sia RegAI

  1. Access the profile. If your institution is registered, sign in to PathFin.ai to view Sia's profile. If not, MAS invites interested financial institutions and AI solution providers to register their interest at go.gov.sg/pathfin-registration.
  2. Pick one requirement. Choose a live MAS requirement your team is working on, such as an AML/CFT obligation under MAS Notice 626, as the pilot scope.
  3. Check the funding route. If you plan to use the FSTI 4.0 AI Pathfinder track, check the eligibility conditions above and submit an Expression of Interest to MAS before the project starts.
  4. Run your own due diligence. Complete your vendor, data and risk assessments before any deployment decision.
  5. Talk to the team. If you prefer not to go through PathFin.ai, contact the Sia RegAI team directly.

How Sia RegAI can support the workflow

Sia RegAI turns regulatory text into operating requirements, controls and evidence. It has two modules on one shared data model:

  • RegReview monitors regulatory sources, compares versions and turns regulatory text into a searchable, jurisdiction-mapped library.
  • RegMatcher maps requirements to policies and controls, assesses coverage as Full, Partial or Not covered with a rationale, and drafts remediation controls for human review.

Operational coverage has been built across MAS sources, alongside HKMA, APRA, FCA, OCC and EU regulation. For Singapore teams, our MAS Notice 626 checklist and MAS Notice 626 vs HKMA AML-2 crosswalk show the approach on AML/CFT requirements.

Every output links back to the source paragraph it came from, and designated reviewers approve interpretations and remediation decisions. That traceability is what lets compliance, risk and internal audit teams defend a conclusion under supervisory review.

From an MAS change to an approved control

  1. Capture the change: RegReview records the updated notice or guideline, its version and its effective date.
  2. Map the impact: RegMatcher connects the changed requirement to the affected policy, procedure and control, and scores coverage.
  3. Close the gap: the team reviews the draft control, assigns an owner and a due date, and links the approval evidence.

What to watch next

  • AI Pathfinder track terms. MAS published the terms on 31 August 2026; check the AI Pathfinder page for changes before applying.
  • The PathFin.ai knowledge hub. MAS said it "will collaborate with our industry partners to progressively enhance the knowledge hub with more peer-validated use cases, resources and solutions" (9 October 2025, paragraph 17).
  • AI risk management toolkits. MAS said existing AI risk management toolkits "will be continually updated and expanded with new playbooks, reusable guardrails, control libraries, and implementation templates in specific areas of AI use and risk" (28 July 2026). Institutions adopting AI solutions should track these alongside their own AI governance.
